1. Half Price Books
What’s better than snuggling up with your dog and a good book after a long week of work? Doing so in a bookstore with a dog toy section! We miss the days of going to Barnes and Noble, grabbing that next thriller, and sitting in the quiet zone. Half Price books has locations across the US, but their flagship store is nestled in Dallas, Texas featuring panel events, a tiki restaurant and bar, and a coffee shop (which we think should serve Brutus Brothaccinos).

7. Trinity Forest Trails
Stretching alongside a body of water, the Trinity Forest Trails offer miles of exploration. The trails consist of mostly paved areas with little to no incline. Despite being considered a generally easy walk, your pup can easily overheat in the summer time, especially on the hot pavement. Always be sure to walk your dog during the cooler parts of the day to ensure they remain healthy and check out our summer safety tips to keep your dog cool in the heat. It’s also important that they remain hydrated during the warmer seasons. For dogs who struggle to drink enough water, try mixing in Brutus Bone Broth to entice and nourish them.
