Doggy Delight Cookie Bites

Chef: Lewis J. Rusk with pup Atlast

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

🦴 1/2 cup organic pumpkin puree (do not use pumpkin pie filling)

🦴 3 Tbsp organic creamy peanut butter (stirred, if separated)

🦴 2 eggs

🦴 1 Tsp organic cinnamon powder

🦴 1 Tbsp organic honey

🦴 4 Tbsp Brutus Bone Broth (in your dog's favorite flavor)

🦴 2-1/4 cup organic oat flower

WHAT TO DO

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit a half-sheet baking pan and set aside.
  3. Stir together the pumpkin, peanut butter, eggs, cinnamon, and honey until thoroughly mixed.
  4. Add the bone broth and stir to combine.
  5. Gradually add the flour until thoroughly combined and a stiff dough is formed.
  6. Turn the dough out onto a piece of parchment paper and roll out to ¼” thick.
  7. Cut the dough into small pieces, about 1” x 1”, and separate slightly.
  8. Transfer the dough, still on the parchment paper, to the half-sheet pan and bake for 35 to 40 min.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool completely before serving to your canine friends.

NOTES

  1. Store excess cookies in a zip lock freezer bag in the refrigerator for up to one month or in the freezer for up to six months, thawing in the refrigerator before use.
  2. Use free-range eggs and organic ingredients whenever possible.
  3. We always use Brutus Bone Broth®, because it is the best bone broth for dogs and Atlas loves it!
  4. The ingredients may be doubled or more to make a bigger batch of cookies. Bake in separate batches.
