Pilots To The Rescue ✈️

Pilots to the Rescue (PTTR) is a nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of flight to save animals in need. Founded in 2015 by pilots and animal lovers, this organization has made it their mission to transport at-risk animals from overcrowded shelters and disaster areas to safety.

PTTR's dedicated pilots and volunteers work tirelessly to provide air transportation for animals to no-kill shelters and rescue groups across the United States, ultimately saving countless lives. In this blog post, we will delve deeper into the remarkable work of Pilots to the Rescue, exploring their history, mission, and impact on animal welfare.

As I joined the Pilots to the Rescue mission in March, I was thrilled to be a part of such an incredible organization dedicated to saving the lives of animals. Our mission was to transport at-risk animals from overcrowded shelters and disaster areas to safety, and I couldn't wait to do my part.

To my surprise, Brutus Broth generously donated their delicious broth to the rescue mission, and I was excited to bring this tasty treat to the rescue animals.
With my fellow volunteer Sabrina (lovemargot.co), I hopped on the PTTR plane and flew across the country to the shelter destination. As we arrived, we could see the grateful faces of the shelter staff as they received the donation.
We quickly got to work distributing the broth to the rescue animals, watching as they lapped it up hungrily, their tails wagging in gratitude. It was a heartwarming experience, and I felt proud to be a part of an organization that not only rescued animals but also cared for their well-being. Thanks to PTTR and Brutus Broth, we were able to make a small but significant difference in the lives of these rescue animals.
